About Athlete: Danny Etkin
What’s up guys! I’m Danny Etkin and I’m nineteen years old. I grew up in Larchmont, New York and have been studying Martial Arts for fourteen years where I began training in a traditional Japanese system. By the age of seven, I began competing on the North American Sport Karate Association, also known as “NASKA”, where I won my first world title in point sparring. Since then, I have earned thirty NASKA World titles in the disciplines of traditional weapons, traditional forms, extreme weapons, extreme forms, and synchronized team forms. I represent and am sponsored by Team Paul Mitchell, a 30-year-old professional sports team recognized for its prestigious members. I was also primarily coached by Los Angeles local Matt Emig. I have appeared on ESPN twelve times and have won the eminent ISKA title, which is considered the highest honor attainable in sport karate, seven times. In addition, I am currently traveling all over the world teaching seminars and competing in places like Guatemala, Puerto Rico, The Cayman Islands, Hungary, England, Ireland, Mexico, Amsterdam, Canada and the United States. With all of my sport martial arts background, I decided to put my tricking to the ultimate test by competing in the 2015 Adrenaline Championships. That same year I ended up being crowned the Adrenaline 1v1 Tricking Champion and was later named one of the first ever Adrenaline Pro Athletes. I hope my channel gives you access to 24/7 content that inspires you to follow your passion like I did.
