About Athlete: Anthony D’Amours
Hey everyone! My name is Anthony D’Amours and I have been doing martial arts since I was 8 years old. I started competing with the bo staff in local tourneys in Canada and went on to win my first Canadian championship at the age of 12. Since then, I have competed all around the world, winning multiple world titles (WKA, WKU and NASKA). I am also coach of one of the most successful sport karate teams in Canada. Motivation to become a great athlete and coach has brought me to master multiple weapons. In the last few years I have really put my focus on pushing the limits of what is possible to do with weapons, especially with double and single bo. I’ve been putting hours and hours on just letting my mind and body create moves, releases, strikes, combos and forms with my weapons. My goal is to inspire by pushing this sport forward and expanding the possibilities of what we can do in sport martial arts. With this channel I will bring you guys in my creative journey through tutorials, samplers, videos about training and how I create and much more. I am really excited to share all of this with you!
